Very good tester

This is a great battery tester for a shop or at home. It is very easy to setup and use. The print out is very clear and nicely laid out. Feels like a very well built tester.

value stuff

Received this product with nice package. It is so useful for my mechanic friend. I got this for a birthday gift. He loves this so much. Each penny I used got its value.

I have used my BT780 tester for a few weeks now
Have tested 2 car batteries a few times, 1 lawn tractor, 1 small 12v battery for a booster
Unit works fine, one more foot (or so) of cable lenght would be nice
The printer function is very useful to have, darker section titles are a bit fade
Will be inquiring for extra rolls eventually

Their is one more test I perform with my ''Klein Tool multimeter'' that I find very useful to
mesure voltage, that gives me a residuel result of battery, after car is idle for a day or two
1- I plug unit to battery, select Voltage function and «Min/Max option»
2- I start the car and let it run only a few seconds, then turn off engine
3- any minimum result of lower than «9.6 volts» indicates battery is to be replaced

Tried it. Like it.

The unit is packed in a very durable carry case. The instructions are printed in a SMALL booklet (very typical these days) and cover everything but are best re-read the first time you go to use the product in order to grasp all of the things it does. The built-in printer is a great feature, but it needs a light hand tension on the paper while printing, otherwise the paper binds up and you don't get the full report.
