For some reason a lot of the maintenance functions, like tps, egr valve, fuel injectors, wouldn't allow me to go throw with the maintenance on them. Keeped saying something like function not supported.
Which was one of the main reason I went with the nt809 bidirectional scan tool. To avoid having to spend 200$+ for a car shop to check out my car. For last time spent 1,150$ish at a euro mechanic shop, to get my engine light and surging of the car fixed. Didn't even get either of those two taken car of.
Though, at the very least I was able to view in a way more in depth if why my vehicle engine light goes on.
I was able to take car of issue over, low power, with engine, glow plug, and dpf light on.
I really don't understand how I got them taken car of. Other then clear the codes helped more then getting them cleared say at a auto store.
Granted could be user operating error on why I can't get the maintenance functions to operate.
I would get the dpf emergency regen, to activate but wouldn't never really start. Would get passed the pre stage but before it would get to the actual system to system to activate. Wouldn't activate and would basically end the egr regen right then and their.
Excellent product. Used for a newly acquired "new" old (2004) Mercedes E320 with only 37k miles. It was getting an ESP malfunction after a battery change and this detector flagged the steering angle sensor as the cause. Performed a steering wheel calibration and problem solved. Payed for itself versus going to dealer. Lastly, was able to clear this code and a bunch of other Stored (but not active) codes from prior work on the car where codes were not wiped
I showed it to my mechanic, and he was impressed.
Cant beat for the money and all the features he stated it worked just as well as his snap -on scanner
Just buy it will not regret it.

This scanner has a lot to offer compared to other scanners. Mine had some issues so I asked support about it and they told me to send it back and I got a new one in the mail the very next week. Their support was quick and it was easy to communicate between them.
